The Plumas-Eureka Community Service District Auxiliary (PECAUX) is here to support and aid the Volunteer Fire Department and its firefighters. Aid can mean raising money to buy the fire engines and emergency medical equipment needed to save lives.

Fund raising events include Pancake Breakfasts twice a year at the Plumas-Eureka Firehouse on the Saturday of Memorial Day and Labor Day holiday weekends. The Auxiliary contributes to the Mohawk Valley 4th of July celebration and local charities such as EPCAN and Toys for Tots. They also host the annual Firefighters Appreciation Dinner in October.
