Training Values

We value the following behaviors in our training:

Safety:

This is our highest priority in training. We seek to prevent injuries and illness in both our training and response.

Dedication & Participation:

We treat our training  as  a  priority  in  our  lives, but   fully  respect   other   personal priorities.       If   we   are  unable  to participate   in   scheduled training, we assure a make-up is completed.

Organization:

Our training is well organized and respectful of each other’s time.  We believe in certified programs, and document our training thoroughly.

Helping Others:

More experienced  members take pride in teaching, coaching and helping to develop  the  knowledge,  skills, and abilities of newer members.

Evaluation & Testing:

We provide regular evaluations to confirm that the training has been effective.

Being Nice:

We treat each other with dignity and respect.

TOP

Cooperation & Partnership:

We  conduct joint  training  with   the Graeagle Fire Protection District, and other fire personnel in Plumas County.

Teamwork:

We strive to function as an effective team while training, in practice and preparation for how we will perform in emergencies.
