Before retiring from the County of Santa Cruz in 2010, Sherry worked as a Senior Analyst for approximately 20 years. She loves working as part of a team and works well with a variety of people and personalities. For over 10 years Sherry served on the board for a Santa Cruz County non-profit, Youth Resource Bank of Santa Cruz County, providing financial assistance for low-income youth and their families.
Since 2014, Sherry has operated a small business making and selling organic soap, selling mostly at the local farmers market and craft fairs as well as teaching the art of soap making from her home. When not making soap, she loves traveling, taking walks with her dog, Olive, cooking and gardening.
